Safety Systems, Inc. originated in 1991 as a new "Division" of Custom Fence and Supply and Inc., in Colorado. O.S.H.A was making a very visible presence with the construction of Denver International Airport, and they were called to investigate on accident at a site away from the airport near Boulder. While in area of their investigation, they saw a number of serious safety violations in a new wood frame housing development, this lead to a thorough inspection, and fines for assorted violations to Home Builders. This inspection and the fact that over 5 deaths occurred, specifically in wood frame construction, within the past 12 months brought a new and very aggressive "attack" towards this previously "lenient" sector of construction industry.

At the request if one of the builders fined for "inadequate" 2" x 4" safety railings, we designed our railing system to meet the requirements by O.S.H.A., in a cost effective way through experience, study and testing of our original system, an engineering firm helped us to arrive at or current system. As a company, we have added additional standards to ensure that we are providing the best temporary safety railings.

At the request of some of our clients, we expanded our services to major markets in Arizona (1994). Nevada (1995), Southern California (1995) and Northern California (1997). This growth leads to incorporation of companies for each state. through these entities we are able to provide the same high qualities systems and services as part of an effort to avoid staggering fines for repeat violations, from O.S.H.A, to many builders with operations in all part of 4 "western state" service area.

Since the time of inception, our two-fold goal has remained the same. Highest quality and best service. Through ongoing efforts in quality control, service, training and dedication, we strive for continued growth and improvement.
